5 Recipes that will Help You “Think Spring!”
We love this time of year! Everything feels fresh and new and full of possibility. Even those frequent showers can’t keep us down.
So here are 5 of our favorite snack recipes to help you start to “think spring”:
- Avocado, Tomato & Sea Salt
Nothing says “fresh” like pairing cool, creamy avocado with sweet cherry tomatoes. Throw in a touch of sea salt and you have the perfect spring snack. Recipe. - Cream Cheese, Black Bean Spread, Salsa and Cilantro
Cilantro has a way of making every dish feel like it came straight from the garden. Pair it with fresh salsa, smooth cream cheese and flavorful (and protein-packed!) black beans and you have a great afternoon snack worthy of those spring showers. Recipe. - Spinach, Basil and Radish Salad
Welcome spring with open arms with a fresh salad full of crunch and flavor, like this one from Glamour magazine. This recipe calls for lots of spinach and fresh spring asparagus with just a hint of citrus. Add your favorite Riceworks crisps as a side and you’ll have a springtime lunch that’s the envy of the break room. Recipe. - Vegan and Gluten Free Stuffed Mushrooms
Take the earthiness of mushrooms, unite it with a creamy (vegan!) cheese blend and top it off with your favorite Riceworks crisps for a little crunch and you have an appetizer anyone can enjoy. This recipe from Amie Valpone of The Healthy Apple will make you the hero of your Easter brunch. Recipe. - Goat Cheese, Shrimp and Fresh Salsa
This might be our favorite spring snack of all, because it gives a hint of the warmer days (and vacations!) ahead. Plus, who can say no to goat cheese? Recipe.
